This is my first attempt at a Triathlon.

This is a sprint Triathlon, which is comprised of a 1km swim, 30km bike & 7.5km run. It is about 75% of the Olympic distance Triathlon.

About three weeks ago, I had the sick idea of TRI'n. Tons of sweat and body ache later, here I am, facing my first. I did not get to sleep the night before as I was anxious as hell. Not even counting sheep and deep breathing worked. I still managed to squeeze in about an hour and a half of sleep before my alarm rang. I'll take it.

I managed to finish the course in decent time (2hrs 16mins) with only some hiccups (I lost my shoes in transition & lost a chain on my bike leg). All in all, it was all worth it.

I'm hooked!

Very well done, Javy. Conratulations to you and Hannah for the concerted 'joint' efforts. Doing things like these together is one sure way of staying happy together.
